Default Plastic Fantastic - May 17th - San Diego

Any interest in doing a group run to San Diego for this? !

We did this 2 years ago and I had a BLAST!

As I recall, about 15 to 20 of us (all C3s!) rolled in there together.

http://www.ncocc.com/home2.html

Here is a link to the registration form.
http://www.ncocc.com/PDF%20Files/201..._form_2015.pdf

Entry to the event address is: 400 Kettner Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101

ok.....currently on the "definitely maybe" list:
MrJLR
dugsgmo74
Tom69
Sheerider
1969RAY
PaulDana
Doug's77

Talking with 1969RAY, we should all meet up at the Carlsbad Outlet Stores at 7:00am so we can all roll in together.
Also - pre-registration is the way to go !

Depending on how many people are coming, we could have a couple of groups cruising together to the meet up point in Carlsbad.

OK...it's this Sunday and the weather looks good!

Planning to meet up at the Carlsbad Outlet Stores (at the Starbucks) at 7:00AM and leave together at 7:30am.

Starbucks
Carlsbad Premium Outlets
5620 Paseo Del Norte
Carlsbad, CA 92008

Put it in your GPS on your phone!

Then to Plastic Fantastic
400 Kettner Blvd
San Diego, CA 92101

Hope to see you there!

After the event, we can go hang out a bit at "Stone Brewery"....have a beer, eat a bite and chat.

Sounds like something I'd be interested in. Looks like a good show and should be nice drive down.

Last year the show attracted over 350 vettes from 7 states. If spending an extra day or two in the area, also visit the USS Midway which is about 1/2 mile from the event.

I see you're in the IE too...we could cruise down together.

I'd like to get a group together, meet up and all go together.
Depending on how many, I could contact the organizers so we could all park together.

Sounds good, thats a great area to have a show, lots of great places to eat and things to do! I see the show is on a Sunday. I was thinking of heading down Saturday and staying at a hotel, there are some right next to seaport village.

I wrote them a letter (reply is below).
So, if we want to all park together as a group, wee need to meet up somewhere down there near the event and roll in together.
$30 fee per car - there is a link in the first post for the registration form or pay at the gate. We should try to get there around 9:00am and no later than 9:30am.

Hi Jeff,

I remember your group. You were parked on the water side. We're looking forward to having you all at the show. Yep. You can all park together if you all arrive together. If you don't arrive together, we'll do our best to put you all in the same area.

No group rate. Same cost for all attendees. The gate opens at 7:00 and closes at 10:00. You can pre-register or pay at the gate day of show. Dash plaque and gift to the first 300 guests. The address is 400 Kettner Blvd. You can GPS it. Follow the line of Vettes. Lol.

All this info in on the flyer/registration form available on our website. Ncocc.com.

Thanks Jeff. See you all at the show.

I would suggest arriving early to maximize the chances of parking together. Showing up at 9:00am may be too late to have enough remaining space to be grouped together. Entrance to the event is via a single line. So paying at the gate slows the in-processing, or at least have the $30 in hand to speed things along.

Hope to see you there. I'll be somewhere on the field working parking.

Tom

We're moving to the Sonora/Jamestown area. House has been on the market less than a week and already we have several offers.
We're trying to sell with an agreement to lease back the house until we can find another.
don't count me out yet
