steering wheel
I have a 1974 L48 that has a tilt steering wheel but dont know if it is a telescoping steering wheel. Now dont laugh but how do I make it telescope or is it possible I have a tilt and non telescoping steering wheel?

Not sure if they made tilt without telescoping, but the telescope control is a ring right behind the horn button - spin it one way to unlock, and the other way to lock...

If it tilts, it should also telescope. There is a lock ring at the top of the column. Your owner's manual shows it and explains how the tilt/tele functions.
