Has anyone done their own custom interior?
I am looking for ideas and thoughts on DIY customizing some of the interior pieces in my 72 vert. I am currently in the process of resto-moding the car and I believe the interior will be the next area I focus on.
If anyone has done such work I am curious to know how you went about completing the effort.

wanted to try something different at the time and had the red painted to match exterior, added whiteface on gauges, and had the steering wheel custom wrapped. Im currently doing a frame of resto/mod and thinking of changing it again'' ....and this time around it involves a set of Fiero seats with Mr. mikes covers!!

I've already got them. i picked them up at a local Salvage Yard. Once Im done with dropping the body and getting the engine going I will move on to the interior. Still not sure if Im going to stay with the red Interior or switch over to Carbon fiber hydrographing all the red Accents!! thanks!!

Also interested in this. Any other examples of custom interiors? Anyone go for a luxury wood/leather look?

I think it's hard with custom interiors, because they look dated so fast as tastes change. My only advice would be to keep it subtle. Zuendler's interior is a good example of that. It will still look good 20 years from now.

I really like what he has done with his car. That's really what I think I'm looking for in mine. I'd love to know if he did that himself and if so where he acquired the materials.
