'81 Headlights won't go up, another newbie question!
Ok guys, another newbie question, now that I have the transmission sorted out. When I turn the headlights on the passenger side will start up but then goes back down. The drivers side doesn't try to go up at all. I replaced all the lines a few months ago as they were looking pretty rough but I didn't replace the switch since it was working when I started this little adventure. Do ya'll think the switch has gone bad ? Looking for advice here before I start ripping into it.

Does the over ride work? Check the vacuum relay for each light; if those are good, check the actuator for each light. The switch can also be suspect.
Raising and lowering the headlight doors is 100% vacuum.

If it's anything like my '81 then you just aren't going fast enough. As soon as I hit 50 they pop right up. It's like back to the future, except instead of going through time you light up the road a bit.
