Default American Racing TT Wheels on Sharks

Hi Gents,

Thinking about putting a set of American Racing wheels on my 1970 LT1 Convertible.

Any pics (especially of white sharks) with American Racing TT wheels would be super.

Thanks,
Dan

Should have been more specific. Nice car but respectfully not my taste. Looking for the original style or the modern take on the original style.. 15x8 inch. I have 15x7 inch on my 1969 Z28 day-2 car...

These are 15x7. I don't think they make 15x8. I believe the next size up is 15x8 1/2.

These are 15x8-1/2. They are Halibrands, but same idea.

I always liked Les' (AGVI) vette. I bought these wheels and tires off of Les and will put them on my 72 in April.

I believe the OP is looking for Torque Thrust D wheels with the comment, "original style or the modern take on the original style"

Here are the "modern take" 15x8 1/2 TT Ds.

Huh?? You say you have a set on your Camaro, just take two off one side and put them on the Vette and you will see them in person. Better than a picture.

Consider Vintage Wheel Works and ET Classics from Team III also as they both make "classic 5 spoke" wheels.

Tire size is not even close to making it worth the effort...

I want to say 15X8, but can't be sure (on the car when I bought it)..tire size is the same all four corners P225/70R15, if that helps.

I wanted the same thing as you on my '70 big block convertible. Found a nice, patient man at Rons Rims. They are re-making the wheels and they do come in 15x8. I have them and they are a perfect fit. No spacers, no adapters, just bolt 'em on and go. Send me a PM and I can send you photos. I'm one of the 11 people on CF who can't figure out how to post pix and tired of messing with it. They were 136.00 a piece from his ebay store and he ships quickly. He certainly isn't the only source but is the one I had a nice purchasing experience with.
