Default It's Awake

Guess what started right up after a 5 month cold storage nap?

No trickle charger, no need for a jump start and the tires are still aired up to pressure! Hooked the battery up (left it in the car all winter), pumped the gas a couple of times and she fired right up into a smooth idle and warmed up to 190 degrees after about 15 minutes! This is the 3rd year of no special storage preparations and it's good to go for another season. Can't beat a Chevy!!

Good for you, that's exactly how mine goes also. Still about a month to wait though, got snow last night.

Unfortunately it isn't. I would love to do some work on it during our long winter! Maybe someday!

What a thrill it was taking her out on a cruise yesterday , she's kept at 68 deg all winter so a quick oil change and fired up immediately!

I don't need no stinkin' Oil Change, Violet was mad and left me a present on the floor for leaving her in the cold garage this winter. I need to find that leak...looks like the oil plug is missing a grommet.

Well on my way home I saw the trucks out spraying the dreaded "white goo" on Taunton Rd so keep'm tucked away for a little while longer!

Glad to read all went well in the London area, hopefully I'll get to hear it in person one day.

Can't wait to hear mine after sitting for many years, well see.

Yes, we are having a typical Canadian spring. Just when the weather is looking good, we wake up this morning to a surprise 4" of fresh snow and the road crews dumping another layer of salt!

Personally, I'm headed to Las Vegas this weekend to see what the sun looks like!

Looks like -12*C tonight. I had hoped for re-entry on April 15 but I may have to push that back a week. I am getting frustrated.

I'll count our blessings here for now. It was nearly 80 F today for the high but more snow is forecast to fall in about 48 hours.

Spring-time weather is on and off so we wait, too. Just not as much as others.
