Default Goodbye Southern California

After living in Orange County for the past 35 years, it's time to move on.
House is sold and we're moving North. My wife wanted one last visit to Solvang, so, baring any bad weather, we're cruising to Solvang, in the vette, one last time on the 25th of this month. Anyone care to join us?

Sorry for the last minute notice, but we gotta get in the "seat-time" while we can, before moving north.

Sounds like a great drive to Solvang. If you had one last SoCal cruise that should be one on the list. Are you going to take the back way mountain route, or up 101.

North on 101 to Santa Barbara, then north on 154, and West on 246 into Solvang. I'll leave my house around 7:30/8:00 take the 405 North to the 101 West to the park and ride in Camarillo. Probably hang around there til 10:00 and then continue North on the 101 to Santa Barbara.

101 N/B exit Las Posas Rd. left over the freeway and it will be on your immediate left.

There's also a pit-stop there in case anyone, or anything is thirsty.

Sorry to see you leaving. Will you please take Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer with you.

Seriously, you might want to consider continuing out to the coast to Cambria.

No, I can't join you.

We will actually be going through Cambria on the June 5th & 6th cruise to Monterey.
Our house closed escrow just yesterday, but we're leasing it back until June 30, so the Monterey cruise will be the last So.Ca cruise for us, before we move to Sonora.

Sonora is a great place. We visited there a number of times.

Not so far from there to Solvang.
