Thank You.....

I just want to add that the McCleod clutch feels awesome with the new rods.....has just the right modulation and not too heavy.
This clutch and shifter are going to be a lot of fun.

How are you doing the tach conversion.? I need to do the same for my '69/LS3 at some point. I have a later C3 tach and the Zip kit on the self but haven't decided which to go with.

The previous owner bought a Zip kit for this style gauge....put it in but never hooked it up.....pretty basic, it has a power/ground/signal hookup......signal will go to the MSD box.

Thank You! I realized shortly after I received the car what a great deal it really was.....I have 5-6k of my own money in it detailing and upgrades but the car itself was not only unmolested.....but ZERO rust of any kind, anywhere!!!! Trim is immaculate, and so is the rubber.....
Interior is a 9-10.....it will be Black and Saddle together.
Saddle dash and seats....everything else black.....sorta like Crocketts Ferrari/Vette
It had a few problems.....but I sorted it out.
The goal is EVERYTHING has to work.....including the A/C......
Should be a well rounded, kick *** road burner....

Congrats! Looking great! Trust mine turns out that good but it is a long way off! I am putting in a Mr. Gasket (Hurst Ramrod) shifter in mine. Was your switchover to the Comp + very difficult?

It was a true bolt on....it is a little tight getting the rods in there....but I had a buddy help hold each of them while I adjusted and installed bushing/clip.....I used a little moly paste on the rod and bushings for longitivity....
I really need the shifter as it has stops. I tend to be a little harsh while banging gears.

Hello forum......I have yet to start this as ever body and everything seems to distract me for days turning into weeks.....
Not much of an update....but enough for a bump....besides, we like pictures, right?

Got a New Rebuilt P/S pump and installed my powdercoated pulley.
I installed a factory LT-1 pump....but thinking about it makes me think it is not going to be enough.....soooo.....I had a 110gph/8psi Brand X pump from a previous build kicking around......it is going on as well as a Reg/Bracket/Line setup at the carb (see photo).......if it needs more, I will go electric...but I hate to....

Close ups of some of my powder coated pieces.....I tried like hell to make every fastener under the hood ARP but this proved futile.....more of a PITA than I expected.....I will swap them out later....my Street Rod mentality is slowing me down......

Anyhoo.....I have been fighting a low running virus that is floating around Texas and it has been with me for two weeks......
Going to mount the pump today and work on other things.....

Pump in.....checked alignment and it is slightly off.....
The only way I see to straighten it is to elongate the hole that the secondary bracket has at the motor mount.....?????
Even then....the Primary cradle sits flat on the block face.....
Hmmmmm......
Anyone want to chime in?
Any ideas are always appreciated.....
