Paying $80 for a Veteran C3 collector in FL to check a car for me.
Hello all. I am up in NC, I'm a newbie to corvettes and am about to take a 6 1/2 hour drive down to Jacksonville FL to look at a C3.
However I really don't know what I'm looking at and I'm sure a shop in the area will take $50 to look over the car and not know what they are looking at either.
If you are in the Jacksonville FL area and have an hour or so to spend this weekend or Monday to just check this car out for me. I will paypal you $80 for your time.
I will base my choice off of what you find.

Excellent idea.
I've been thinking of doing the same thing. Of course, it's wise to make sure it's a long standing & respected member of the forum.
