'Star Wars' Corvette Captures Spirit of Two Classics
This C3 Corvette is essentially a rolling poster for the "Star Wars" franchise, complete with a picture of a classic Darth Vader lightsaber duel.

STAR WARS RULES!
ALSO!... Here is that shot of the side view of a car with the spare tire carrier removed that those of whom have removed the spare tire carrier never want to take for you during those threads we see all so often to see what it actually looks like from all angles, not just the showing off the rear leaf spring..
It just looks like something is missing in the back... IMO

I... I can't say I dig the airbrushed graphics, because I almost always hate airbrushed paint jobs on cars, but... I don't know, there's something about the geometry of that paint job that kind of works well with the car. I'd modify what's going on at the back roof line and on the roof because that's not jiving, but the edged wheel wells and the stripe across the door... I like those lines.
That said, if they'd left the whole car black and deep violet, I think the paint job would work better.
Oh, and if it had been a 1977 to commemorate the original release date of the film, all would be forgiven. Or even better, if they'd done the paint up to make it a CR90 Corvette.
I would also accept a corvette done up like this as an art car:
But maybe with more of this vibe to it:
And now that I've offended most of the corvette community, I'll crawl back into my hole.
...
Sidepipes would make great laser canons.

Get rid of the white and add some more cool Star Wars stuff. Then the SW geek in me would get exited. Right now the thing looks like a cow with Star Wars spots. Moo.

What's cool to me is the art is some I haven't seen in about 30 years and was from what I recall artists conception of Vader and Luke or? if you look close it looks different than how vader looked in the film.
I recall in the 80's a turbo wide body a odd silver blue color with x-wings and tie fighters all over it, at more than 5 feet they looked like damage or bird poop....
