New to the forum with 77 L82 4 speed
Hello folks. I fell in love with corvettes 50 years ago when I was about 15 years old. Finally got my first one, a 77 L82 with 4 speed. 70800 miles on it. I'm still learning it, but I think it's all original with a new red paint job. I bought this car road ready. Everything about the car looks like we'll cared for original miles.
I always envied those "old geezers" tooling around in a vette. Now I'm one of them and loving it. Growing up in the 60's, my cars were mostly standards. I forgot how much I love going through the gears.
I've enjoyed reading threads on this forum look forward to the vast amount of knowledge shared here.

My sister got me interested back in the mid seventies when I was in my mid twenties. She had a '73 vert then later a '76 then wound up with a '92 vert. I started with a '78, then a '84 , then a 91 vert and now I have a '73 vert.

Welcome to the C3 family. You made a great choice. I have owned 9 Corvettes since I was 25. Seven of them have been C3s. My first was a 78 and I seem to be partial to the 78 and 79 but I have always loved them all. I'm 59 now and building a 78.
Welcome again and enjoy!

Congratulations on your new Vette It looks like a very nice car. Better late than never. I have been driving them since the early 70's and it never gets old, but we do

I spent my career as crop consultant for rice farmers in Northeast Arkansas. I chose that name since I was one of the first (3rd actually) full time rice consultants in Arkansas back in 1980.
