Ya know I noticed that to be a strange reoccurrence. I was going to ask some of the convertable owners why he possibly does that. Every single year he has his convertable top lid open while he cruises Woodward. I thought maybe to get a better airflow but they are only moving all of about 5 mph between continuous stops.

Now that I more or less have finished my car, next yr I'm going to plan to be there.
But I read that 3 cars were stolen this year, one of them being the papajohns camaro : (

Lots of cool cars! And some crazy sights!
What the heck are the GOLD rims doing on the c7, for instance?
And would that one c3 vert lid just not shut after he put the top down?! That would suck!

The other two were a 66 convertible Vette stolen from a parking garage while the owner went into an eating establishment for lunch. There has been mention here and there that there have been some possible sightings of the Vette after it was stolen but nothing lately so not sure what the current status is. The 3rd one was an all original 66 Chevelle which had no TV news media attention at all but only an internet article indicating it was stolen.
