Default Detroit Woodward Dream Cruise (2015)

My Fellow Vette-Heads
Woodward Dream Cruise this year was a great time as usual. Here are a few shots of the Vettes I captured.

Default And Some Not So Vettes

There were some amazing works of art there this year. Of course the pictures do no justice to some of these vehicles without the lope of the engines and smell of racing fuel burning. All of it together makes for a super enjoyable day at the cruise.

Nice pics! Thanks for posting. One of these years I will go back for the Dream Cruise. I used to live at 10 1/2 and Woodward.

Ya know I noticed that to be a strange reoccurrence. I was going to ask some of the convertable owners why he possibly does that. Every single year he has his convertable top lid open while he cruises Woodward. I thought maybe to get a better airflow but they are only moving all of about 5 mph between continuous stops.

Lots of cool cars! And some crazy sights!

What the heck are the GOLD rims doing on the c7, for instance?

And would that one c3 vert lid just not shut after he put the top down?! That would suck!

Yea, the Papa Johns Camaro was stolen. The truck and trailer it was in was all taken at the same time from a hotel parking lot. The next day, the authorities found the truck and trailer but no Camaro. The following Monday the cops found the Camaro located in an abandon house driveway in Detroit. They said because of all of the media attention, the thieves more than likely got nervous about heisting the high profile car and ditched it. It had a few scratches and a busted steering column. It was later reported that the Camaro (after it was recovered) was a replica and not the original Papa Johns Camaro to begin with.

The other two were a 66 convertible Vette stolen from a parking garage while the owner went into an eating establishment for lunch. There has been mention here and there that there have been some possible sightings of the Vette after it was stolen but nothing lately so not sure what the current status is. The 3rd one was an all original 66 Chevelle which had no TV news media attention at all but only an internet article indicating it was stolen.
