Default Rack

What a Rack.......................

Installed new Gas door emblem, pin, and spring.
Also got the new Rack on. Hope Santa takes the hint for a T-top bracket.

Have a Great Day,

Bill

Default Craigslist Parts

Looking over Craigslist this week, and found a 75 being parted out.

My interior was pretty torn up.

I still have the "New" carpet panels for the doors, that came with the spare parts.

Grand Total.............$220.00

Now I just need some warmer weather.

Have a Great Day,

Bill

Well, I found all the parts, they landed in the backyard.

Dawn and water, what a fun afternoon.

I'm trying to do this interior as cheap as possible. The seats and dash pad were already done. The carpet is in so-so shape. The parts I found off of craigslist helped.

Two coats of primer, Three coats of "Dye".

In the process of putting it back together now. (pics when done)

It is going back together..........

Just a Note for anyone reinstalling the center gauges.

If you put a shop towel over the gauges, (to keep them clean) it WILL bend the second hand.

Have a Great Day,

Bill

Like I said, I was trying to do on the "cheap"

A couple of extra screws in the door panels, but worth the $avings to me.

All in all, I'm happy with the results.

It is possible not to go "All-In" on these projects.

They work great, and the YOM plate looks good to me.

And the removable rear window was a BIG Hit...........

Gotta be an understatement for sure... going that deep into the dash and working your way back out is C3 right of passage.

41-year old car with an interior that looks like the day it rolled off the assembly line... impressive.

Nice work Bill.

I need some of them T Top brackets / straps I think. Makes life so much easier than putting your back out trying to get them in the back

That was a full 8hrs of cleaning and polishing. When I bought the car, I really had hoped for the rally wheels. but these are growing on me now.

And Yes, the t-top rack is Great ! Along with the removable rear window. The two best things, so far.

Next up, completely reseal engine, tired of all the oil spots. Hope I can get it done before the snow flies.

Have a Great Day,

Bill
