Default strut rod bushings

Strut rod bushings are on the list of suspension work as soon as everything is de-rusted and painted up. I've seen some of the vendors selling a strut rod busing tool for a press and also a different version for use in a vise. Is this needed? I know that the trailing arm bushings need to be flared with the special tool but do I also need to get a tool for the strut rod bushings?

Nope. I burned out what was left of the old, cleaned up the bores with a brake hone, and installed the new.
