Depends on which garage door I open. I have three to choose from.

Nice colors, 65GG... your '72 is the exact Corvette that I took for a test drive back in 1975, for my first time in a Corvette ever. Actually bought a Corvette key chain, taped it to my refrigerator until I bought one and haven't been without one since.

Who knows? Could be the same one. 200hp 4 speed, a/c the only option. I've been told those are Va Tech colors, but not intentional.

Hi,
Even after all these years I continue to be surprised how RED it is when I turn the lights on!
Regards,
Alan
I cheated and moved the wheels/tires further under it so you can't see them. I always put them under the frame if they're off so that if I knock the car off the jack-stands it'll fall on them and not directly on me.
For some reason I like them slightly apart… maybe because you can see more of the 'good parts' then?

That wood floor looks great but I wondering how it works out in a garage. Any staining problems? Do the jack stands dig into it?

Hi,
My 'restoration' days are long past (I think).
When I started I was on concrete.
When all the really nasty prep work was done and I was beginning reassembly I put down commercial vinyl tile.
When I was done (or thought I was done) I put down the laminate you see.
I need to be careful with it and have a 12"x12"x1" piece of pvc board under each jack stand. I also have a piece I put under the floor jack when I use it. Because of the odd way I use my car it works out but certainly wouldn't for most people!
Regards,
Alan
The concrete.
The tile. As you can see having the body off and assembling the chassis and running gear took a bit of thought!
