You'll have to go past the window felt and get to this lever... locked or un-locked it will release the door. There may be (should be) a anti theft shield in there too... so you'll have to force past it.

If you do a search, you'll find a rich history of people working this problem.
Basically, after you read all the threads, you have to stick a long thin screwdriver into the window slot and then down into the latch area and spring it free.
To train yourself, take off the door panel off the good working door. Lock the good working and now open good door. Now practice with the screwdriver probe technique. With the door panel off the good working door and that door open, practice with the screwdriver probe technique until you can unlock that door. With the door panel off you can see a little better of what you have to do. Once you have successfully unlocked the "good" door, not attack the stuck door. Hopefully, it will be a SNAP!!!
This is what I did when the driver's side of my 68 jammed shut. Unlocking with a screwdriver a 68 latch is a lot more fun, since the latch is slightly different than the 69-82 latches.
