I'm not afraid to mess with old stuff, cannibalize 2-3 units to get one good working unit. Not an issue, and I'm cheap.

However, my car doesn't even have the correct unit installed, no extra lead wire, could be from an Impala for all I know. Not a good place to start. So these look like a great deal for a new unit.

I was in the same boat....No extra red wire so the safety switch could do it's job.

That's a good looking motor and a very fair price for a decent quality motor.

Very nice and priced at a point where us average guys can afford it.

Question on this - were the motors painted from the factory? Not doing a restoration by any means, just curious.

when you purchased a GM motor they came just as pictured. In the raw. When delivered new.... I'll be honest I'll have to look at my cars on Monday to tell. I don't think they were black but I have two very original cars with low miles I trust as a guide Adam... I'll look when I get there on Monday...

We now have non imported power window motors too... I've just not done the blast on them yet... and they are lower priced than the imports.

Link busted. I am going to be replacing whole motor on mine. Do you also have motor cover, firewall gasket, and nuts that hold it to firewall?

Yes. the washer pump is sold separately from the motor. If yours is still good or should I say if yours will still pump you may be able to rebuild it with a new bellows kit

Believe me, you can't have a wiper motor issue I can't fix...
