Default 70 drivers side wheel well holes

I posted on the NCRS site regarding some holes that maybe should not be in the driver's side wheel well.

I am having problems with my internet provider at home that will not allow access to the NCRS website.

See pic below.

I am at the point of cleaning the wheel well and now would be the time to fix the holes.

Thoughts?

Bill

Did you get responses on the NCRS Board?

...Thoughts?...
In your pic, are we looking toward the front of the car or the rear?

Hi Bill,
My 71 has a single hole in that area, high up near the hood surround for an additional clip on the compartment side for the hose and harness bundle.
Here's a picture of a 69 with 3 undrilled dimples but at different locations than yours, ???.
Regards,
Alan

No and Yes.

Alan's response and the Dobbins book picture indicate that one hole may be correct. The picture in Dobbins is from a 70.

Thanks,

Bill

HI Alan,

From what I can tell the one hole appears to be factory. There is no evidence that the factory drilled the other tow but no evidence they didn't.

Looks like I am fixing two holes.

Kind Regards,

Bill
