Filter Alert! While picking up my new flywheel, I found out, that through Saturday, all the NAPA Gold filters are 70% off! That's air, oil and fuel filters. Check your local NAPA for pricing and availability, but I've got the flyer. The 1036 is only $2.88. That's cheaper than the Fram and it's a WIX filter in disguise! Stock up while you can.

Can you post a picture of the flyer. I called the 2 factory owned stores near me and they know nothing about it. The 2 smaller ones local did not either.

Thanks

Joey

Yea, I got nothing in my area. They are all showing full price around here. Where is the flyer or code?

PS: This discount is ONLY available at the CORPORATE stores, the Independently owned stores will not have this discount.

I just called my local store to see what is going on.

They stated they are a corporate store but their sale on the filters ended 2 weeks ago.

They tell me of a "Bucket" sale they currently have going on. Anything you buy that will fit in a bucket (not sure how big the bucket is though) is 20% off. He said even if it won't quite fit in the bucket, they will give you the discount.

They also stated that on the 2nd Saturday of each month, everything is 30% off.

Way to go NAPA! I will be visiting them way more often.

Sigh... Way to go indeed. The manager gave me the wrong scoop. The sale ended TODAY! Good thing, that I got in there, before it closed tonight...

I saw this same post elsewhere this week and went yesterday to my local NAPA which is also the district distribution center.
They offered, nor knew of, no sale but: my Napa Gold air filters were only $7.99 each. #2101 & #2095

Looks like you went to a non-corporate store (Nobbys). Their prices aren't even available on-line you have to call them.
That same filter was just $7.99 (or $7.20 thru 11/04 if you reserve on-line) at the corporate store just down the street.
At least you made it up on the oil filters.

Hi Fred, looks like it was just a regional sale, as I have pics of the promotional poster in the thread, though it doesn't mention geography, but it does say to check local store for participating times and locations.

"Looks like you went to a non-corporate store (Nobbys)"

No, Nobbys is on 838 E Palmdale Blvd, I went to the Corporate Store on 2132 E Palmdale Blvd (if you look at the pic of the reciept, you can barely see the four digits on the addy, at the extreme edge). And the manager, told me, that his store was a corporate one as well. He told me, the Independents wouldn't want to lose money on a promotion like this.

The prices weren't available on line either. It seems to be just a flyer and word of mouth. I have the flyer as well, showing a NAPA Gold filter for like a little over $2. Looking at the receipt, my #2101 was Net $3.40. Glad you got them for $7.99, because that's still a pretty good discount!

My apologies to all of you, for not realizing this wasn't a national sale. I just wanted you guys to get in on it, as that's the only brand filter, I'll use on my two Corvettes ('74 and '95). And at 70% off on all Air, Fuel and Oil, I stocked up on five of everything!

The '95 has the most expensive parts. The Air Filters for the '95 are usually $39.20 each! But they were only $9.80! So I got three for nearly ten dollars less, than I'd pay for one! '95 Fuel Filters, $26.18, now $6.55. I only ordered three on Thursday, but went back last night and got two more of the things I only ordered three of. Want to be stocked up, for at least two to three years at that price.

I hope it comes your way!

$3.40 is a deal - I wish but no such luck here.

All NAPA stores can do the filter sale once a year. We set ours up for the spring time. Your local store should be able to tell you when and if they do one. Can't beat the prices I buy filters for all my vehicles during the sale for the whole year. Did anyone catch the oil sale a couple months ago, it was nation wide, $1.99 a quart for premium grade? Our oil is bottled by Valvoline. You can sign up online to receive Email notices of ongoing corporate offers. Mike
