Stainless T-Top trim fitment
Hey guys.
can you tell me if the front lip of the Stainless trim suppose to clip in to the windshield surround clips, or tuck behind the clip, please.

Hi C3,
Curious what year that trim is from?
My 71's trim has 'notches' cut in the trim where the clips are so there's no interference.
For the trim in your pic I's say the flange needs to slide into the clip, not behind the clip, so that when you install the long thin piece of ss trim in the clips the 2 pieces of trim will be snug together as was intended.

Looking at the underside of the trim, but notice the notches to clear the clips.

I just realized I've read this thread 7 times and never saw anything other than C3Paul's avatar... If not answered by the time I get back home I'll try to check out my 76 and see if I can get you some pictures.

Hi C3,
I still think the flange needs to go into the clip.
If it doesn't the rear 'leg' of the clip will force a gap to occur between the front edge of the piece you're installing and the rear edge of the long thin piece.
Ideally, that should be a snug fit.
