If you go with a 235 width (or wider) tire, you need to go with a 60 series radial instead of a 70. Large width 70 ratio tires have outer diameters that look too big for the wheelwell, IMO.

That's really narrow for a 77 . Put some real tires on it , so,it will handle properly .
GR 70'was th proper tire .....and it does fill up,the wheel well correctly .....the way it SHOULD look ....and the way GM thought it should as well.......correct.
