Maybe A New Question About Car Covers For Convertibles
Hi All,
I've tried the search function to no avail...
Here's my question:
I have a '69 Convertible that I purchased about 2 months ago, and I want an indoor car cover for it.
I'd like to protect the car from dust of course, but also protect it from dings.
The issue is that as I'm researching covers, I now see that some car cover ads state that "Due to the material that makes-up the inner lining of this cover, it may leave a coating of lint on convertible tops".
Yet some ads DON'T state that, so now of course I wonder, will it leave a mess???
I'd also like a cover that's not a pain in the rear to remove (maybe a loose fitting cover?), as I'll be working on the car throughout the Winter too.
Can someone with a convertible, please suggest a cover that they have had first hand experience with???
Thank you all in advance, I appreciate all of your help & guidance!
Ben

Melting Slicks
I bought a nine layer on Ebay for $47. I use it in the garage for dust and light protection. It fits good and works fine. When the top is up I just put a sheet over the top and then the cover.

Burning Brakes
I think that the lint warning is probably more applicable to non nylon tops. Modern tops or those that may be of a different material on older cars might collect lint but shouldn't be a problem for you. I have never had such a problem on any of my convertibles and they have always been under a car cover in my garage.

Been searching all over the place for the NOAH Car Cover.
I see them manufactured by CoverCraft, and I've found one supplier with what seems to be one helluva low price @ $215.78, for that one!
(Free Shipping, but no bag included, which I don't care about, as I already have a nice racing bag for it).
Not sure if others also manufacture NOAH versions...
How's that pricing look to you???
Thanks Again,
Ben N

Another thread said to buy a roll of painters plastic sheeting . The static will make it cling to your car and keep the dust and lint off

FYI...there is a cheaper "Noah" cover now sold by Zip for $89. They dont call it Noah but its the same. I've had old Noah covers for $200 for 10 years and found these now. Dont know why Noah jacked up the price lately.
All of them last two years of everyday outdoor indoor use. Sorry didnt see this sooner.
