Default Any Greenwood Sportswagon Fans Out There?

Picked this little jewel up yesterday. Not sure what the plans are, just know it was too unique to pass up! The actual car is a 74, ps, pb, pw, ac, tilt, telescopic, etc, etc loaded out car.

Check it out!

Nice project! There are a few people around here (and I'm sure other places as well) that are restomoding panel wagons and old station wagons to sell to local businesses as unique delivery vehicles. That would be a very unique delivery vehicle, while they seem to offend the Corvette purists out there the general public seems to like them.

Thanks for the comments guys! Like I said, not sure what the plans are, I'd love to build it, Im just not sure the end result would be worth the price. Definetly on the lookout for a resonably priced front clip though!

nice rare find

I had a 73 with all Greenwood suspension and a 69 z28 motor all done courtesy of the dealer I worked for back in 73

Met John as we sold a lot of his stuff

Its interesting that it has the earlier style interior, in red apparently, with an '82 Collector type paint scheme. Wonder what the car looked when complete and running?

Probably not, but that interior picture "kinda" looks like it has a stainless '77 horn button. (probably painted) Worth checking, though.

I was wondering if the 80 rear bumper cover was part of the Greenwood kit or if it had the normal 74 rear. I vote for removing that rear cover, looks out of place.

So, I started digging through my 70's custom archive, maybe this can help the OP a little. These pics are from a 1977 magazine article on Greenwood's operation:

I found plenty of other station wagon kits, but I was trying to get reference pictures of the Greenwood design as purchased by the OP. Its the one where the side windows creep up onto the roof a little.

Here's a few more from another 1977 article on Greenwood's shop. I guess the car was brown.

One last pic- an ad from 1980 from American Custom Industries (ACI). Looks like they purchased (replicated?) the Greenwood kit and renamed it.
