Stuart, both Paragon and Corvette central sell the expansion tank for air cars, and can be dated. The mounting bracket is unobtainiam from what folks say. I can tell you that installing the tank is an experience.
Was looking at new. About $150+ and could not find mounting brackets. It is not an easy install. There is little to no room there with the AC fittings and lines, I found out. I will see how my plastic tank works. It can always be removed. I have learned not to modify anything. What good is the tank without brackets? I will have to keep looking for a tank and mounting brackets. Just posted a WTB ad on CF.
Thanks for the help!
I should have installed mine while the engine was out. Various contortions to get the rear one mounted. Depending on how much you need, you can get on paragons discount program and save some money. For all that I needed I saved a good chunk of change on mine. The brackets are sheet metal and could probable be duplicated by a competent sheet metal worker.
Got it broken in. Need to take the filter off and verify nothing of concern in it. Also need to sort some leaks in power steering and track a few oil leaks. I think one leak is either where the oil pressure line meets the hard line or at rear of valve cover. Power steering wants to turn to the right and it lost fluid at one of the crimped hoses.
Is there a diagram on what the orientation is? The control valve looks new so may be it needs to be adjusted. I put the lines cris crossed and from the pump they only go on one way, at least I believe so.

The fittings are different sizes so theoretically it's not possible to mix them, but I was wondering if you had new lines made?
Stuart how you making out with the expansion tank for your LS5 ?
I decided to leave it the way it is. Its not an easy install and then I would need to replace the new aftermarket radiator with an original. Not sure I want to go through all the hassles and expense now. Thank you for your help. If things change I will let you know.
