Btw, if anyone has an `experienced' copy of the Thomas Falconer, "Corvette Originality Guide - 1969-82" I am interested in borrowing or especially buying it. Would love to read it to learn about/appreciate each and every one of the C3 years and eventually pass it on. No concern about adding normal postage/padded envelope costs. Thanks. Dave

C3 Corvette Trivia
1969 (38,762) was the biggest production run of the C3's until 1976 (46,558), as production continued through December of 1969 in anticipation of a strike that never happened.
Consequently 1970 (17,316) was the smallest production run of the C3's (lowest since 1962 even) for the same reason, production started in January of 1970.
1977 was a record year for Corvette production (49,213), bested only by the 1979 (53,807) for C3 production. 1979 also happens to be the largest production run for Corvettes to date.
Good luck... GUSTO
Bought this 1977 (on the left) new...

Would be nice to know the actual number still on the roads via registrations at their respective DMV's.
The tally from this forum poll is so few by comparison to the number of forum members it might not be accurate or too random. I actually saw it before I got my '77 and forgot about it until seeing it again at the top of the topic list. And yet even randomness tends to show something.
