Default Did you Take Your C3 Out for a Drive Today?

So I don't post a bunch of car show photos in the wrong area, I thought to create a new thread for anyone who wants to share and/or post pics of them taking their C3 out for a drive, to a local cruise or to a car show, so feel free to share.

When I first saw CFLVette I thought it was Canadian Football League Vette.

What kind of car is that yellow one?

Up here in Jersey the temp is up to 50 and the roads are dry but white coated with salt. Since they started spraying liquid salt before a storm rather than broadcasting dry pellets during/after the stuff stays around for weeks. Maybe next month...

Mine has the radiator sitting on the floor ready to go in, which might happen today, but no chance of it coming out of the garage. The roads are wet in spots from 14" of snow still melting from last weeks storm. It sucks too, because it's supposed to be 65 and sunny today.

Great pics!

Weather was incredible here this weekend with highs in the mid 70s. Dropped the top on the 69 Saturday and today drove the old girl for a couple of hours on the back roads. Just perfect driving weather.

This has always been my rule for winter driving. No matter how nice the weather gets, I will not drive the vette until there has been a decent rain to wash away the salt. They like to spray a brine mix here in NC (not nearly as bad as all the salt they dump in NJ, but neither is the snow), and they were spraying it before last week's ice storm so even with the nice weather I am still waiting for rain.

This morning I took the Vette to the monthly cruise at Hooters Restaurant in Sanford. Excellent turn out with the gorgeous weather we've had lately.

Wind chill today was -45*F. Needless to say the Corvette was sleeping in 60*f commercial storage. My DD grocery-getter (Cruze) started OK but never warmed up after 20 minutes. Heat loss from those tiny 1.4L engines is incredible.

Six inches of snow on the ground and more expected. It'll be a while.

It has been a month since I drove my 70 as the 3 feet of snow has left salt on the roads and the past 3 days the temps have been 5 degrees with a brutal wind.Temps are going up thus week hope to take a ride by next Sunday.

Thanks for the car show/cruise-in pics...got the itch to get the vette out pretty bad now!
Currently have about 4 inches of snow falling as this post is being typed. Looks like she'll stay in hibernation for a bit longer. Keep the pics coming!
