Default OE QJet pull off spring adjustment 78???

Another query but this time I am referring to my Q-Jet...
I would like to know where the auto choke pull-off spring is located, what is it used for and is a periodic adjustment necessary????
My vette guy just replaced all of my light bulbs and electrical circuit board...I asked him to check my choke and all he said was that he took some tension off the pull off spring due to loading up at idle...I did ask him particulars but all he said was that the spring needed a little adjustment...
Would really appreciate it if any and all could set my mind at ease, as in maybe it is an adjustment to be considered in the future????..

Default

Normally you wouldnt need to adjust it other than during a rebuild. In the link below the picture shows the choke side of the carburetor and the mechanic may have been referring to the screw with spring near the top above the choke housing.

Mewff,
Yes, that is the one he said he adjusted....Seems to be the only spring/screw that is above that piece of green colored linkage....
Thx.....Mike
