Beautiful. Thats my favorite GTO model. I had a 69 with a 455. Always wanted the 389? Tripower.

Good job on both of them

That 455 is a screamer! (That`s what`s in our 69 Grand Prix!)
The blue.... then black interior is a 72 Chevelle we built for my wife. Sold ... now she`s got a 65 `Stang.

This is a great thread! They are all amazing transformations. I'm sure lots of very hard work to get these Corvettes (and a house) where they are.
Keep them coming.

(Don't mind the orientation of the transmission levers)

Why not, I can play.

My '79 as I bought it in July 2015, stock as a rock:

And as it sat in January 2016 with new suspension and wheels and tyres.

Should hopefully have an engine bay before and after in a few weeks.

Still have about 75% of it, in boxes. You can never have to many spare parts.

Not as involved every one elses, but seat before....

And after...

Not perfect, but not too bad for first time DIY for under $100

Good job, seats are a pain. For under a $100, they're beautiful.

Thanks! Like I said... not perfect, but usable and great learning experience. Also here is the custom aluminum console sides I made....

Using the originals as patterns:

And end result:

Your before/after request is a little tough... the wife and I are notorious for jumping in to a project, and then about half way through saying "Awww hell!, we didn't take any 'before' shots!"
