Can I reproduce this "before" pic in a "Life-Size" version and tape it over my current engine bay!?!?

Good thinking on the amber mod without modding. Nicely done. I love the crossed flags. I might steel that

Default Vettes

This is a great post, to see what people have done to enhance these cars, save them from scrap. Really cool to see. I don't remember all who contributed but great work and creativity. NICE!

Wiring mess

A work in progress

Its getting better. Still need to mount plug wire harnesses. At least everything works now. And ignore the fan sticker. I like stickers and I dont want to put anything on the outside of the car so I indulged myself once. Okat twice if you count the LT1 sticker on the lame filter but it fits under the hood and its an actual LT1 350 so its okay, okay?. Good , moving on, keep your hands inside the car and away we go....

Lets see your before /after body work, frames, motors, cars, bikes, kitchens. What ever you made better
Very nice!! I have none matching number 72 coupe. Previous owners installed a 1970 vette 350 donor and before me they got a lot of awards at local car shows. Since I am the new owner I made some upgrades, new crate 350 installed, stainless steel brakes with braided lines. I got in trouble as the new crate motor did not clear the stock hood. Thanks to this form I ordered a stock L88 hood. She will be ready for US National Classics car show in Louisville KY. Back story I always loved the C3's. What makes it more fun is she is the SAME age as myself at 43.
In the Lambo Photo I still have the stock hood, unfortunately she is still in the shop waiting for paint. She should be ready within next 2 weeks. Last time I took her out was in Feb of this year so I am really getting anxious for summer fun.

Are those C5 seats? I just picked up a pair for $300. I need to sew a tear and glue the pad back together on the drivers seat. I might buy a new one for $65. They're black. Where or who made your covers

Default Door Panel Replacement

Before:

The wood trim look is played out, IMO.

During:

Tried to modernize it a bit with brushed aluminum vinyl.

and After:

Since the OEM door panels were tired-looking, I ordered replacement panels. I had to use more screws than I wanted to in order to get them to conform to the door.

Kept the use of chrome trim pieces to a bare minimum and very pleased with the results. Also took the opportunity to install new weatherstripping on the driver door and added FatMat to help keep road noise down.

Also texturized the mirror remote plate to match the door panel.

Default Front Bumper Alignment

Before:

After:

They are still wet sanding, buffing and taking care of a few details; for example painting the bumperettes. But the car should be done by this Friday.

Now the rear bumper looks like a turd, of course.
