Just bought a 68 roadster said to be "an original big block car". Now has a new 502 crate motor. Other than a tank sticker, what might show that this car started out as a big block?

stickers on the springs, larger front sway bar, wider radiator, tachometer red line, ujoint bolts, emissions sticker, check current accessories brackets that might be original.

44% of 68's were big blocks so it's a pretty good chance.

Original factory documentation. Corvette order, window sticker, car shipper, protecto-plate, etc. If the seller has any paperwork for the car, ask about it.
