Default "Roman Chariot" custom

Browsing ebay and came across this...

1970's styling at it's finest! Wait, that might be an oxymoron.

Regardless, tons of work, workmanship, money, and chrome!

Not my cup of tea, but still impressive, in a "I can't believe they did that" kind of way. Wish I had the stack of greenbacks it took to get this done. Supposedly 60K in chrome alone!

Wow! The detailing on that is off the chart. Regardless of whether it appeals to your tastes or not (not so much for me), you have to appreciate the level of work there. The undercarriage and suspension is amazing! Not sure how well chrome plated springs, swaybars, and brake disks work... But that's not the point here, and it certainly looks spectacular. Amazing work!

There are customs ... and then there are RADICAL customs!! This is show circuit 70's in its glory. If this is a recreation, well done.

I like it! looks very well done. I would get rid of that "moon" tank sticking out of the nose though. Otherwise, it looks great! Another "Hot Wheels" type custom.

I echo your thoughts exactly. That is a tremendous amount of quality work done to that C3. Very nice work and it take me back to my young childhood in the 1970s.

I love these cars, in my youth the world of wheels or autorama as it was called then at cobo hall in Detroit was always an annual event I attended. These customs were so cool!

WOW....

This sort of sums up the extent of the detail-

Look at the inner fender wells...

Good representation, of what I would expect to see at a Custom Car Show.

It's detailed to the max. It looks like it's very well done and no expensed spared. In it's day I'm sure it was a top attraction. Now it suffers from being completely out of fashion suffering the same fate as a leisure suit and men's platform shoes.

naw...I never had any interest in men in leisure suits or platform shoes but I bet like many people see old customs as timeless if this car was at a show or cruise people would check it out....in most cases old radical customs still attract people, some might hate the car but they still look and have to make comment....it got posted here...it's still being shown, it's still stunning....

I personally know this car. I grew up about 10 minutes from where the car was created. I can remember stopping in there as a kid (I'm 52 now) and just gazing at it for hours on their showroom floor. It's pretty well known in the Cleveland, Oh area that I grew up in. And yes, it is as detailed as it looks in the pictures. Just a beautiful flawless 70's custom!

For what it is and everything invested in it that seems like a reasonable price. Very well done. The moon tank is not from my era, but kinda neat historically. Unique.

That is so tacky and dated. But so am I so i really like it.
One thing that really strikes me as odd is that after so many thousands of hours and dollars custom making this and chrome plating that, they put a stock shift plate over the center console that really does not fit. Seems like that would be an easy thing within the scope of that build.
Wonder what it would cost if you paid somebody to build that today.

I like it for what it is intended to be. I have visited Roman Chariot and they always have crazy things going on.

Some Bubba work on that one

The Interior is gross ..

Gauges look like someone put them in with gorilla glue

And my Favorite :::::::: His cooling fan is about 2 or 3 inches above the radiator .. Maybe just maybe someone could have used an electric fan LMAO

I do not believe it drives might not even run, it's a trailer queen.
While I do not see anything bu...hack job on the car, I see no glue on or around the gauges,
I didn't until just now see the link and the white and red cellophane effect interior is just down right painful for me to look at, gross? yeah I guess I will go there
I am also a bit surprised that such a high dollar build has a rather cheap aftermarket steering wheel,

I highly doubt anyone will go 90K but I wonder what it will fetch.
