Yes that is the correct mileage.
I am helping a close friend with the sale of his 72 Corvette.
He is trying to put a fair price on his car.
He purchased the car new in NJ and drove it for one month and parked it.
It has 468 miles on the odometer.
454 cu in.
Auto Trans
A/C, P/S, P/W, P/B
Rear Defogger
Removable rear window
Saddle leather interior, looks new
Original tires
Tilt wheel
NEVER been registered but has a Jersey title.
He is asking me for my help but I am a C-1 guy so I am looking for honest estimates.
Thanks in advance.
Joe
This is the only picture I have now but he moved it from the corner and will have more pictures soon.
I purchased the 61 Fuelie from him in 2008.

Guess collector value is in continuing to let it sit?
To get it roadworthy would take quite a bit of wrenching.

Wow. You can see beyond the dust that it is a time capsule. I expected to see one of those rotted out musty barn finds as an owner of an Elkhart 72 ls5 I find this amazing. I wish I could buy it. Really can say "original air" in the tires. Hope it goes to a good home. I'll play the lottery this week if I win I'll buy it!

That is one incredible low mileage LS5,and is definitely one that a collector would drool over and IF all original and great shape and in the pics it looks like it is,it could bring 100k or better at BJ or Mecum. If possible would really like to see engine compartment pics. I am drooling myself over this LS5.........BTW what is the dealer he bought it from ?...Thanks Jerry

It did seem unusual for it to remain with only four miles, considering it was loaded on and off trailers, driven to the parking spot(s). At how many shows? Guess it was driven backwards, for every forward mile?

Throw it up for sale in the C3 for sale section or throw it on eBay.
Pick a Hail Mary price and see it anyone bites. Sure beats paying BJ buyers and seller fees.

Super correct engine compartment (as expected). It really looks to be in amazing condition. I think you need to contact someone that represents high-dollar cars to get it into the right auction.

The only flaw I see is this car is in your buddies garage and not mine. This car has the stuff of dreams. My dreams.
I always wondered what might happen if purchased and put up on blocks what a car might fetch in the future...now I hope to learn the answer to that question here.
Congratulations and good luck with it.

Ive seen these ultra-low mile finds sell like crazy and also fall on their faces. It can be a tricky sale.
I agree that you need to carefully pick the right auction unless someone contacts you with a "can't refuse" offer beforehand. I think it will need to be marketed properly ahead of time so people know it's coming up for sale. This is the kind of car that gets paid for when someone knows its coming up on the block, not on a whim.
And of course, it has to be in a reserve auction. Too risky for no protection.
