Ed they were from the Ed Foss vette collection and a few of his low mileage 69's broke the 200k mark, and I know you love 69's.

This is the only picture I have now but he moved it from the corner and will have more pictures soon.
I purchased the 61 Fuelie from him in 2008.
Contract Barrett Jackson in Arizona they are experts on cars like this one and if they sell it they will negotiate a few .I have worked with them .DON'T do anything with it at this point doesn't make a dam about it's operation irs the mileage that matters
Good Luck

Guess collector value is in continuing to let it sit?
To get it roadworthy would take quite a bit of wrenching.

I'm sure you already know, but don't touch the car.

Don't change the tyres, don't wash it, don't even rub the dust off it.

Its very exciting to realize there are stil cars out there like this.
This 4 mile car was at the Bloomington Gold Special Collection in 2007. Blow up the photo a bit if you cant see the odometer.

Wow. You can see beyond the dust that it is a time capsule. I expected to see one of those rotted out musty barn finds as an owner of an Elkhart 72 ls5 I find this amazing. I wish I could buy it. Really can say "original air" in the tires. Hope it goes to a good home. I'll play the lottery this week if I win I'll buy it!

And what you can of the frame? Just between the tire and the rear tire opening would be great.

I judged that car.

It did seem unusual for it to remain with only four miles, considering it was loaded on and off trailers, driven to the parking spot(s). At how many shows? Guess it was driven backwards, for every forward mile?

Throw it up for sale in the C3 for sale section or throw it on eBay.

Pick a Hail Mary price and see it anyone bites. Sure beats paying BJ buyers and seller fees.

Would it be wrong of me to buy this vette (if I won the lottery) and then use it as a daily driver.....? OK let the bashing begin.

Super correct engine compartment (as expected). It really looks to be in amazing condition. I think you need to contact someone that represents high-dollar cars to get it into the right auction.

The only flaw I see is this car is in your buddies garage and not mine. This car has the stuff of dreams. My dreams.

I always wondered what might happen if purchased and put up on blocks what a car might fetch in the future...now I hope to learn the answer to that question here.

Congratulations and good luck with it.

Ive seen these ultra-low mile finds sell like crazy and also fall on their faces. It can be a tricky sale.

I agree that you need to carefully pick the right auction unless someone contacts you with a "can't refuse" offer beforehand. I think it will need to be marketed properly ahead of time so people know it's coming up for sale. This is the kind of car that gets paid for when someone knows its coming up on the block, not on a whim.

And of course, it has to be in a reserve auction. Too risky for no protection.
