I'll be there by hopefully mid afternoon Thursday. Whether my 79 makes it or not, is still up in the air. Discovered (thankfully at home, and not otw to Carlisle) a leaky radiator the other night. It's currently at the radiator shop. My car has made it up there for the last 10 years. It's about a 3 hours trip for us. If my car is there, it will be on the fun field, near the Subway, so feel free to stop by.

I'll be arriving on Wednesday morning, and staying through Sunday. Not bringing a Corvette though, just my truck and a trailer full of parts.

I hate to say it, but I've been to every Corvettes at Carlisle since the very first, and I've never taken a Corvette.

Back at the beginning, the only paved rows on the fairgrounds, were "A" and "J", and all the vendors were on those two rows. Somewhere I have pictures taken back then, looking from A Row toward J, with nothing in between.

This year I gave up my A Row spaces, that I've had since the beginning, and moved to J Row (spaces 142 to 147), right near Al Knoch.

I'll be there on the fun field with my '79...I've been attending most of the Carlisle events since 1986...I wouldn't miss it! Stop and say hi if you recognize my car...

Yes! We'll be there all weekend. Our first time. Not driving the C3, too hot, leaky and unreliable. Taking the c6.
Super excited, have been resisting the urge to start packing for weeks.
We're doing the parade and parking in funfield.
You guys have any suggestions about what not to miss?

Where do you typically park? I'd like to see those seats especially up close with the logo. They'd look good in my 79 as well i believe.

I'll be there Thursday and Friday. Corvette on Thursday and Tahoe or Corvette on Friday, depends on what I buy on Thursday. I've been going for over 20 years.

Leaving tomorrow morning, helping set up the NCRS Gallery.

If anyone is in need of correct wheel weights, I'll have plenty available, "D" row in front of the food stand!

I'll be headed down from Michigan on Thursday, arriving late in the day. Will be at the show on Friday and part of Saturday. Hauling down a 75 body for AllC34Me and will have an empty trailer headed home. Anyone needing a vehicle hauled back to Ohio or Michigan should get ahold of me.

I have been there 2 times before and I don't ever recall there being a good deal. It's fun to walk through, but I am usually thrown by the prices.

That's the case at every Carlisle event. I've been going to various Carlisle events throughout the year for the last 25 years. You have to wonder if some of these sellers actually want to sell their cars.

The real interesting ones are the spring and fall swap meets where they have auctions on Friday night.

Not uncommon to see something that was auctioned on Friday, for sale on Saturday, marked up 30-40%.

I'm probably going Friday, maybe sat morning. I got a wedding to go to in Pitt and that's a 4 hour drive from Carlisle. That's the nice thing about living 6 miles from the fair grounds, I can just so by.

I usually park on the fun field somewhere in rows IH-IK... Basically if you are in the manufacturers midway facing the grandstand I am way to the right, between gates 2 and 3... Look me up, I'd love to show them to you. PM me if you would like, I will send my cell and you can text me to meet up sometime
