Default Photos of C3's on QuickJacks

We have sold quite a few members QuickJack's and would like to see some C3's on them! We have a fellow member looking to see exactly how much height there would be from the ground to the frame of his C3, so any measurements would help out the fellow forum members!!

Hi GE,
In these pictures the QuickJack is at it's lower safety point.
There are 14" clear at the engine crossmember at the lower safety point and 18" at the upper safety point.
If find if I'm working from the floor the lower safety point is more useful, but if I'm working from a creeper the upper safety point is good.
Like it a lot!
Regards,
Alan

My '80 on the Quickjacks as we speak- rearend work and pulling the diff. I love 'em. My Vette garage is too short for a post lift, but these feel stable and allow for work I wouldn't have tried on jackstands. About 19" from floor to frame on one rubber block.

Hi Alan thanks for the figures. Are you using both blocks with the lift or just the thicker one. My concern is I am 5-10 280 lbs, on my ramps I can slide under the car but just barely. Is there room for a thicker block between the jack and the frame? Thanks to all that have replied. And as someone else says Alan your garage looks like you are in your living room.

If the product is half as good as your customer service is it will be a fantastic product. Thanks

Hi 929,
I've been using just the thicker rubber blocks.
I can understand your situation though.
The instructions do indicate that both sets of blocks can be used for more height.
Perhaps Garage Enthusiast can offer some suggestions to get you a few more inches in a safe way.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks. One think they suggested was the truck/SUV blocking but wasn't sure if it would fit between the frame and jack. Do you know if you have enough room to fit both blocks on your jack?
Thanks,
Dick

Default Nice Ride

Nice ride! Love the wheels. I'm looking at similar ones for my 1980. What size and back spacing did you use?

Hi Dick,
Yes, with the jacks in their lowered position there's enough room to use both sets of blocks and then begin lifting.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks.
They are 16 x 8 with maybe 4" ?? backspacing, I forget, it's been a while, whatever was the standard for the corvette application is what I bought.

I had my car up in the picture there with both blocks stacked, I shook the car and it was rock solid, that will get you a few extra inches.
