Awesome . A real diverse taste in cars. Let's keep it going. Post your pride and joy other than your Vette.

'79 Ford F250 (yeh kinda ugly, it does a lot of work):

And my modified '69 MG Midget. Currently being reshelled after a nasty accident last year. This was a few days before the crash:

96K mile, always garaged 1965 4-4-2. Purchased new by my wife's father, a Doctor in Redondo Beach Ca. Built in the Fremont (now Tesla) plant. They moved to Petaluma soon after. One of the most original cars left; I have the build sheet. You can see it in the garage...

I restored a '74 Honda CB450 a couple of years ago. It was a beautiful machine, but motorcycles at the age of 65 just don't make it in my book. I sold it but wish I'd just kept it in the garage to look at and polish from time to time. I also restored something a little more fitting for a man of my age. It's a 1956 Ford 860 5 speed farm tractor. Tore it down to the last nut and bolt and now it's a new tractor that I use every week at my deer camp for cutting food plots and dragging logs for firewood. It's a little more my speed at my age.

Nice! I have a 1958 Massey Ferguson MF35 diesel for our small property, which is a bit rough but works well. I'll restore it one day. My FIL has a slightly older petrol Ferguson FE35 (basically the same tractor).

Ah, but I don't have a modern car, and never have. If you get out of the new car loan/depreciation money pit that is a <15 year old car, then you can have a few older cooler cars instead and actually be even or ahead financially. More work though!

I bought it in 79 and it was my daily driver with snow tires and everything. Badly rusted and very bad body work, nasty interior, I restored it in 2005.

There's nothing better than that feeling of pride and accomplishment when you do it yourself . This is turning out to be a great thread. Let's keep it going.

Just got this '67 Mustang on the road 7 years after getting it as a shell for $600. Let the fun and roadside repairs begin!

I still have my first new car! It's my '70 LS-5 and still wears it's original paint and interior 46 years later. My other classic is my '34 Ford Coupe hotrod that I've owned since 1999.
