96K mile, always garaged 1965 4-4-2. Purchased new by my wife's father, a Doctor in Redondo Beach Ca. Built in the Fremont (now Tesla) plant. They moved to Petaluma soon after. One of the most original cars left; I have the build sheet. You can see it in the garage...

Burning Brakes
I restored a '74 Honda CB450 a couple of years ago. It was a beautiful machine, but motorcycles at the age of 65 just don't make it in my book. I sold it but wish I'd just kept it in the garage to look at and polish from time to time. I also restored something a little more fitting for a man of my age. It's a 1956 Ford 860 5 speed farm tractor. Tore it down to the last nut and bolt and now it's a new tractor that I use every week at my deer camp for cutting food plots and dragging logs for firewood. It's a little more my speed at my age.

Ah, but I don't have a modern car, and never have. If you get out of the new car loan/depreciation money pit that is a <15 year old car, then you can have a few older cooler cars instead and actually be even or ahead financially. More work though!

Not really a classic and not even my car but my dad has a 2007 Saleen Mustang that's a lot better than my '78 for power haha but the Vette is better in the looks/feel/fun department

My first car, still have it-
I delivered pizzas in this car when I was in high school in the 80's-
These pics are just after putting a 455 in it.
My Dad's 81 I just inherited

I still have my first new car! It's my '70 LS-5 and still wears it's original paint and interior 46 years later. My other classic is my '34 Ford Coupe hotrod that I've owned since 1999.
