Default Doug's brand sidepipes on Hooker sidepipe headers?

I already have Hooker Sidepipe headers, can I save a couple bucks and just get Doug's brand sidepipes?

My experience is that one of the brands have a longer collector than the other and the expanded portion of the pipe is shorter than the other brand. In other words you need a set of Dougs or Hookers to get the pipes to attach to the frame at the correct location. If you mix brands they will physically hook together but the total length may not be right.

So I went ahead and ordered the Doug's sidepipes, saved @$50 versus the Hooker's. No issues or problems.
