Frunt carpiting
I'm still installing the carpiting in my 69 convertible. I have no reference to how the carpeting was installed , because when I got it there was no carpeting in it. I can't find any pictures of how the seatbelt grommets were placed. I'm assuming the smaller side is visible and it gets partially covered up by the door ledge? If someone can take a picture that would be very appreciated .

Hi m,
Here's a picture of the grommet placement from an original 69.
It appears to be slightly under the interior quarter trim and right next to the sill plate.
You actually have to look carefully to see the seat belt coming through the grommet because it looks like the belt is behind? the seat?
