You can buy the red and green 'transparent' paints. Dupli-Color has a spray can product they call "Metalcast" which is intended to simulate anodized color plating. It comes in several colors, including red, green, blue, and gold. The gold color DOES NOT do a good job of simulating the yellow chromate appearance.

Hi 540,
I found the carburetor paint to be translucent so it would need to be sprayed over silver.
I also found it 'darker' and more of a copper color than the brighter gold color of the actuators.
