Wire size for for fans, gauges , fuel pump.....
What wire size is needed for hooking up my gauges, fuel level, water temp and volt meter. Also I need to hook up my electric fans, I know I use relays. Nitrous, fuel pump, also with a relay. Also the starter button and MSD system. I was going to use 12 gauge but maybe I would need bigger or smaller. I also looked on the internet and couldn't find a site with the information I need.

12 is plenty big for the gauges- 18 would work there with the exception of the voltmeter- I'd use 10 there. 18 would work for all the hookups with 10 or 12 to the power and load of the fans, fuel pump and starter. Nothing wrong with your plan to use 12ga wire, but a bit overkill IMHO.

Here's a chart-
But remember- the ratings are for 70ºF- so under the hood- the rule of thumb is - go up to the next gauge- as the heat adds resistance.
AND when purchasing wire-make sure you don't get "CCA" copper coated aluminum- as it breaks easy and doesn't handle the current.
And as Jeff (AKA jnb5101)said fuse close to the source- And here's a neat modular relay /fuse holder that will protect and neaten up your wiring.
Plus a ingenious battery protection-clamp as well.

Thanks guys for the advice. Of course all the connections are soldered and I will be using packard connections to make everything look factory.
