Default Winter storage on car dollys

So with winter coming, I'd like to park my daily driver in my garage. I've taken some measurements, and fitting 4 cars in my 3 car garage can be done. However, I will need the assistance of car dollys to do so. My question is, would I be able to store the car for 5-ish months on these car dollys? Does anyone else have any experience with this?

Item in question:

I have not owned nor used such 'dollie'..but know some who have and they do work well and are stout enough to support the corvette. Car must be jacked up sufficiently to put a dolly under each wheel. One wheel at a time perhaps...floor jack preferably..Moving the car to it's location is done with care...being careful what part of the car you push /pull on to position it.. ..then perhaps cover the car after winterizing for storage,,gas stabilizer, battery tender or battery disconnected..rodent deterrent..jim

I have a set and I have left some of my cars on them for more than just winter. My set is similar to what your looking at but I paid a fair amount more.

I just bought a set. Jacked each side of the car and slipped them under the wheels. My wife and I easily moved the vette. I doubt there will be any lasting effects, if any, on your tires for the winter storage period.

Very similar set available at Harbor Freight for less.

I'm interested to know about long term effects on tires as well.

I have the Harbor Freight set. I did get them awhile ago though, and some of the recent reviews say the wheels are no longer metal and they dont hold up as well. I can't speak to that, but mine have been great for many years now.

There is no longer term effect on the tires. As long as you are not on one of the bolts or something, it will be no different than if it were sitting on the ground.

I would thing keeping the tires off the ground would be a good thing. there is a jack stand that slides in from the side of the tire and you jack up the tire and move the car and you can lower it when your done.

Shouldn't be a problem, although if you have a rough or lumpy floor they're not as easy to move around. Still easier that trying to push the car sideways with the tires on the ground...
