New Owner of a Corvette
I've always loved domestic muscle cars - don't hate me, but specifically Mustangs - currently have a Shelby GT500, and I've always wanted a Corvette and was blessed to recently have the opportunity to get one.... Not the fastest, but we so enjoy cruising around in it... Thanks,

Hi r67,
VERY nice looking convertible!!!!
It appears to have KNOCK-OUT paint on it!
I hope it gives you lots of pleasure!
Good Luck.
Regards,
Alan
Mufflers driving me crazy…. maybe at least paint them black?

Thank-you...!
Thank-you, I'm in Stafford, VA

Thank-you..! Yes they for sure look out of place. Since the pictures, I adjusted the rear mufflers up higher...In the near future I plan on replacing them and putting true dual exhaust....

Hi r,
Perhaps you might want to take a look at Corvette Central's hideaway aluminized mufflers for your car.

Learn something everyday...Never noticed...I always thought the only difference in the rear between a 74 & 75 was the split molding for the 74....!
Yes, Sir....I have this system booked marked from Corvette Central
http://www.parts123.com/corvettecent...50g&ukey=36055
I like how they say, "73-78 Corvettes from the factory had a round case muffler which can be seen below your rear valance or bumper." Yep, that's what I want to get rid of....

Hi r,
You might want to check with CF member Paul74.
He did an excellent job getting just the right look (to my eye) with the exposed 'tips' on his 74. They're just the right angle and length.
At the moment I can't recall just what he did and whether they're stainless or chrome plated.

Alan
