Some of the rubber is way too hard on the repo stripping.

Some aftermartket weatherstips are so hard a person has to wonder how they can seal.

Thank goodness that their is an option to get the latex if a person wants to spend more money. I know that latex is all I use if it is available and was used in the area I am replacing the weatherstrips.

Send it back and get a kit made by CRC. It's as close to the original stuff that you'll find. Imported weatherstrips are too hard... and other US made kits are silica based rubber which is again too hard.

This is a CRC kit.. it won't have the rear window weatherstrip in it but it has everything else. If you use the current sale code you can save 20 percent off this kit too.
