Default ZL-1 on display at NCM?

I noticed this pic of what appears to be a ZL-1 69 coupe, Riverside Gold, on display at the NCM.

I recall hearing rumors of a Riverside Gold ZL-1 located in the mid-west area.

I have NO IDEA if this is a real ZL-1, or even being presented as one.

Just thought this was interesting...

This is the one that everyone believes is real. Rogers bought it at a government auction years ago. The owner that it was seized from is in federal prison & is supposed to have the real paperwork.

Are you saying that car is Daytona Yellow, and not Riverside Gold?

My eyes are really getting bad if that is the case.

Maybe I should build one...waddaya think? My car is April 7 and I have access to this motor. Just a few minor changes and I have a twin to Judski's car...

Wes
I was just kidding and trying to make a point. Instead of being worth $5 million, it would only be worth what other cobbled together clones are worth...about $50k at best. It is worth more now, at least to me.

I personally really like yours. Rock solid docs, side pipes and a big block. That's a damn good combo in my book.
