Default Need feedback on gauge reface ??

In my rebuild of my 1972 base car I see the tach and speedo faces are not in great shape. Checked into having them repainted and cant even get a price much less a return ship time frame. NOS is sky high so that's out. I thought about the decals from here...

...thought I would try the antique white or beige with black lettering but now I am unsure if the faces will show up at night. Reason I say that is I replaced the lights in my 1970 and the raised light green letters looks like they reflect lots of light and show up nicely.
Has anyone used the decals over the old faces?? If so how do they look at night?

Dean-

New faces are available for your speedo and tach and they are not hard to install. I did a video on how to remove and re-set the needles on both the tach and speedo.... then it's just a matter of removing the two face screws.

Ordered on the 13th. I have not received a tracking number nor any parts. I emailed thru your website without a return email. Order number is 100005273. Can you tell me if it was ever shipped? Thanks

Where did those come from? I like the fact that they actually light up well.

Whitegauges.net They have many options, including original look. I had them customize mine because I installed a volt meter and also an oil temp gauge, I had them label it trans temp. I put in bright white LED bulbs at the same time.

I like the look. I have my 73 all apart, getting ready to put the interior back in. I'm old and it seems good gauge lighting is becoming more important than it used to be. Looks like the combo of the gauge overlays and LED bulbs would be the ticket.
