Default corvette smaller than an Accord?

i'm looking at a 75 coupe tomorrow ( have owned 2 79s before)
My wife asked would it fit in the garage

So as an example I compared it to my daughters Accord 4dr.

Using numbers from Honda's web site and the GM specification book from GM heritage i came up with

Length
Corvette: 185.2"
Accord: 188.8"

Width
Corvette: 69"
Accord: 70.3

height:
Corvette: 47.7"
Accord: 56.9"

SO can you park a vette in the compact car spaces?

my '82 fits better in the garage than my 2015 Accord Hybrid.

Sure you can, but don't forget about how wide you have to open your own door to get in and out.

Since the corvette has a long low nose and you are worried about tight clearances it's a good idea to hang a tennis ball on a string to touch your windshield when you pull in to prevent going too far and damaging something.

By today's standards, an Accord is not a compact. My wife's CTS-V coupe is slightly longer than my vette by a few inches.

But I prefer a 2x4 for a positive stop
