Has anybody "recolored" their headlamp actuators on their car? I am "not looking for an NCRS type recondition, but just want something to make them "look" original for the parking lot car shows in the summer. I had done this on one of my 69 Vettes 40 years ago, but you can well understand that I don't know what I used, or even if those paints/procedures are still available today. Any help would be appreciated

Hi LB,
A combination of gold, copper, and silver spray paint does a pretty nice job.
No one would confuse it for plating but it's o.k. for many people.
