Have you considered this style it would get the air intake under the open scoops,

I've thought of something along those styles or like a turbo hat. The first one looks like it could work, be nice to even build a box around the filters to make them draw from the hood instead of the under hood air

Wasn't too much of an eventful day, kinda stuck in the process waiting for the frame mount to arrive
Pulled the C5 out and cleaned up the place a bit, and built some more of the gf's jeep bumper I've been making.... till I ran out of wire lol

Got part of the suspension in, one side shimmed and in the process of getting the old hubs apart and transferred to the new hubs

Cut, cleaned and tacked the new mount onto the frame
