Default I'm officially a 1st-time C3 owner!

I picked up my first C3 today - a 1969 L48 4-speed coupe in LeMans Blue over Blue. It's got a non-original 350 that's been warmed up with an Edelbrock package and a few dress-up items, but that's OK because I was looking for a really nice driver that doesn't need much. I've done the show and car club thing and now just want something to drive and enjoy.

This one needs a couple of things such as fixing the parking brake, horn, and the battery gauge. The parking brake and horn are really the only immediately necessary fixes since they are inspection items in MA. The battery gauge can be done on a get-around-to-it basis.

It came with a good packet of receipts and documents such as a previous Maryland title showing 15.1K miles on the odometer in 2004 and the remnants of the tank sticker.

Now I just need to get it registered and start enjoying it as soon as the weather allows!

Arriving at its new home!

Those are the seller's CT plates. I have a set of 1967-1971 Year of Manufacture MA plates that I want to transfer from my '67 Cougar over to the Corvette.

Beautiful, thanks for posting the pictures with the red-lines. They will be my next tires on my 70 convertible, mulsanne blue with blue interior. Stunning contrast with the red/blue. Mark

Good looking car! The blue on blue really works together, congratulations! Welcome to C3 World, and if you do anything to the car visually, send us pictures.
Personally, I think if you don't drive a C3, you're just passing through.

So far, I can't think of anything I'd do to it visually. It looks perfect to me. It was originally a luggage-rack car that has had the rack removed and the holes filled. I could go back to that, but I don't think I will. I suspect all my improvements will probably be confined to refinements aimed at making it an even better driver.

Pretty car for sure.
I agree "driver" cars are a lot of fun.
Now "drive it and enjoy it"

That's awesome that you posted pictures. I looked at this car months ago online and came home and told my wife I would love to own a car just like this in the future. So glad that a forum member bought it and shared!! First time C3 owner myself. Good luck and have fun learning everything.

Congratulations. That is a great looking car. I was hoping to find one in that color when I was looking for mine. And your redline wheels look great on it too. Thanks for posting the photos. And start enjoying your time with it.
