Start with something small. You can use foam, wood, even cardboard as a basic shape, then just go to it with the cloth & resin!
Wow, very neat stuff. I particularly like the faces on the trees. I have a 300+ year old oak 10' from my front door. I tell people that I bought an oak tree and a house came with it.

I think it would be fun to find a mid 60s that was so beat it wasn't worth fixing and do a replica of the King Of The Mountain Vette Hopper drove in the movie.

A good candidate sat in front of a house here in Texas City for years, wasn't for sale, then it was gone. Now a busted-*** pickup sits there, probably not for sale either...

Richard, are you in my mind ( a terrible thing to taste ) or did you visit my build thread, a week or so back i posted this in my thread, same basic idea, but in the movie it just looked beat, it was like a sleeper....
No way i can find an affordable midyear but my 69 would be great for this....

I would never knock someone's taste. To do so is, well, tasteless. Cars have always been objects d'art. I like extreme customs, displays real talent to design and great skills to build. Honestly, I think that a lot of the stuff people put on their vettes are tacky but that's all they can come up with. In fact, I have no interest in looking at stock vettes.
