My hood is the same.
I was thinking about the fiberglass stinger hood that I had for my 67 Camaro. I had to cut open the back side of THAT one. Very rare aftermarket item in 1969. Paid $50 for it! I never opened up the front of that one. Sold it in 71 to finish my senior year in college (yes, I am old ).

Maybe like this made from hard plastic with a couple of screw bolts I can fit into grill and use wingnuts.
